these are used in front of comparative adjectives
– a bit = un po’
– a good deal = un bel po’
– a great deal = un bel po’
– a little = un poco
– a lot = molto
– much = molto
– rather = piuttosto
– slightly = leggermente
these are used in front of superlative adjectives
– by far = di gran lunga
– easily = facilmente
– much = molto
– quite = abbastanza
