PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION

There are tree categories of production:

primary production relates to agriculture, fishing. forestry and extractive industries

secondary production relates to manufacturing and constructive industries

tertiary production relates to commerce and services such as banking, insurance, entertainment, education libraries.

COMMERCE

Relates to all forms of purchase and sale of goods and services:

TRADE

Trade can be divided in four branches:

FOREIGN TRADE

IMPORT TRADE    EXPORT TRADE 

HOME TRADE

RETAIL TRADE

WHOLESALE

FOREIGN TRADE

Import trade is the buying of goods and services from a foreign country

Export trade is the selling of goods and services to a foreign country

HOME TRADE

Can be divided:

WHOLESALE TRADE is the sale of commodities in large quantities

RETAIL TRADE is the sale of commodities in smaller quantities than wholesale trade

To consumers

FOREIGN TRADE

HOME TRADE Is the buying and selling of goods and services inside a country within the boundaries of a country

FOREIGN TRADE is the buying and selling of goods and services between two or more countries

COMMERCE IS A TERM USED TO DESCRIBE TRADE AND OTHER BUSINESS

ACTIVITIES WHICH TRADE POSSIBLE MAKE INSURANCE , TRANSPORT, BANKING WAREHOUSING, ADVERTISING.
